Six time Emmy winner John Brenkus (“Sport Science”) has teamed up with elite Hollywood Physique Expert Eric the Trainer (“Celebrity Sweat”) to create a new virtual fitness show, “Morning Glory Live,” which will marry the world of entertainment and fitness.

Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists, announces five nights of shows with iconic Australian band Air Supply in January of 2020. A WALL APART is a heart-pounding original rock musical about the Berlin Wall that fills the room with palpable passion and a soaring score by Lord Graham Russell of Air Supply. Theatre East announces the five casts of the 2018-2019 5X5 Drama Series: Lara Americo, Cara Feuer, Corey Finzel, Raguel Gabriel, Sam Gonzalez, Olivia Hartshorn, Christa Kimlicko Jones, Monique 'Orisha Love' Letamendi, Edward Mawere, Owen Grayson Schiller, Kesley Sheppard, Emily Verla, and James Yuhas. The 5 directors at the helm are Christa Kimlicko Jones, Judson Jones, Chelsea B. Lockie, Caterina Nonis, and Graham Schmidt.

The 5X5 Drama Series was founded in 2016 to bring great new plays beyond the footlights and into nontraditional spaces like breweries, rooftops, and taverns to provide an immersive and unique audience experience. The 90-minute program consists of 5 short plays performed by 5 casts and is performed in all 5 boroughs. Fulfilling one of our core beliefs to make theatre more accessible to all, 5X5 brings the stage directly to the people in the spaces where they gather, learn and relax. The 5X5 Drama Series brings performances beyond the footlights and into non-traditional spaces in all five boroughs for a unique immersive audience experience. Theatre East is an official partner of NYC Pride, and this year's 5X5 Drama Series will feature original, commissioned work celebrating the LGBTQ community as we remember the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
