The original Broadway cast recording of Moulin Rouge! The Musical is now available on all digital and streaming providers on via Baz Luhrmann's label, House of Iona, and RCA Records. A physical edition of the album will be made available at a later date.

Producer Carmen Pavlovic (Global Creatures) just announced that Moulin Rouge!, based on the 2001 Twentieth Century Fox Motion Picture by Baz Luhrmann, will open on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Previews will begin June 28, 2019 prior to a July 25 opening night.

This August 21, the Jacob Burns Film Center (Pleasantville, NY) will be screening the original 1933 classic King Kong before it comes alive on Broadway this fall. Dinosaurs once again roam the earth when the spectacular production, WALKING WITH DINOSAURS THE ARENA SPECTACULAR, based on the award-winning BBC Television Series, returns to North America this summer. The show that critics have called 'awesome', 'spectacular' and 'breathtaking' will commence a new tour in Cleveland from July 9-13, 2014. This updated production will showcase changes to the dinosaurs based on the latest scientific research including the likely feathering of some species. Worldwide, more than eight million people have seen this show in 243 cities and over 2,000 performances.

Since it premiered in Melbourne last year, running on a budget of $30 million, producers have been eyeing KONG's Broadway debut - only saying that they were aiming for the 2014-15 season.

Back in 2010, Baz Luhrmann told us that STRICTLY BALLROOM THE MUSICAL was to be his return to the stage, and hopefully to Broadway as well. Today that hope has come one step closer to reality with the exciting official launch of the musical in Australia. The show's official Global Premiere will be at the Sydney Lyric from 25 March, 2014, with tickets on Sale 9am Monday 12 August.

In a major events coup for Victoria, the Minister for Tourism and Major Events Louise Asher today joined Global Creatures at auditions for King Kong, to announce that the world premiere and only Australian season will take place at Melbourne's Regent Theatre in early 2013.

NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell today announced the stage musical of the iconic Australian film Strictly Ballroom will have its world premiere and first run in Sydney at the Lyric Theatre from September 2013.
