16x CMA Award-winner Chris Stapleton was named Male Vocalist of the Year for the seventh time at last night’s 57th Annual CMA Awards, breaking his own record for most wins ever in the category. Stapleton also performed twice during the live awards broadcast: his current single, “White Horse,” and “We Don’t Fight Anymore” with Carly Pearce. 

Chris Stapleton has added four new shows to his “All-American Road Show” tour: a second night at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl (Thursday, June 27), a third night at Gilford’s BankNH Pavilion (Saturday, August 3) and a second night at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena (Saturday, August 10) as well as a stop at Sioux Falls’ Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.

Chris Stapleton will continue his extensive “All-American Road Show” tour through next summer including newly confirmed shows. Special guests on the tour include Sheryl Crow, Elle King, Marcus King, Nikki Lane, Willie Nelson and Family, Grace Potter, Allen Stone, Marty Stuart, Turnpike Troubadours, The War and Treaty and Lainey Wilson.

Written by Stapleton, Ronnie Bowman and Jerry Salley,  the song was produced by Dave Cobb, Morgane Stapleton and Chris Stapleton, Higher was recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studio A and showcases his supernatural voice and musical versatility across 14 songs that defy genre.

Modeled after Prine’s 1935 Wurlitzer Jukebox, it features the eight singles Prine released throughout his career on Oh Boy Records packaged in their original artwork as well as working lights that illuminate the jukebox, a booklet with a forward written by Jim Rooney, two “Handsome Johnny” jukebox coins, a vintage Oh Boy Records catalogue and more.

Nicolle Galyon, an award-winning songwriter with 10 No. 1s, has made a career writing about her hometown, heartbreak and strength, with a nostalgia that has surpassed her age. Married to fellow hit songwriter (George Strait, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney) Rodney Clawson her entire adult life, Galyon releases a surprise EP.

Shane Peterman, Producing Artistic Director has announced that WaterTower Theatre is continuing our dedication to the development of new Music Theatre works with a workshop of a new musical SAY GOODNIGHT by Steve Dorff, John Bettis, and Rick Hawkins.

Chris Stapleton will take his “All-American Road Show” across the pond next fall for a series of headline arena shows in the U.K. and Ireland, including stops at Manchester’s AO Arena, Glasgow’s OVO Hydro, Dublin’s 3Arena, Birmingham’s Utilita Arena and London’s The O2. The shows will feature special guest Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives.

“Wonder Drug” is from McKenna’s new album, 1988, which was released earlier this summer via CN Records/Thirty Tigers. Produced by Cobb (Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell) and recorded at his studio in Savannah, GA, 1988 is named for the year McKenna married her husband, and serves as a love letter to her family and lifelong friendships. Setting venue attendance records across seven stadium shows this summer, country music icon George Strait and eight-time GRAMMY winner Chris Stapleton continue the excitement into 2024 with nine new dates. Also returning alongside the King of Country and Stapleton for the extended run of one-off stadium dates are Little Big Town.

In addition to previously announced shows at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s CMA Theater (October 8), The Basement East (October 9) and the historic Ryman Auditorium (October 10, Prine’s birthday), the four-day gathering will also include several special events such as official pop-ups, film screenings, song circles and more.

Produced by Dave Cobb, Morgane Stapleton, and Stapleton, Higher was recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studio A. Across its 14 songs, Stapleton showcases his supernatural voice and musical versatility. Brandy Clark composed the music and lyrics for the new hit musical comedy, Shucked, alongside her longtime collaborator, Shane McAnally. With the show, Clark won Outstanding Music at the 67th Drama Desk Awards, while Shucked was also nominated for a total of nine Tony Awards this past year.
