Warner Home Video announces that five classic MGM musicals have been re-mastered for an April 25 release, marking their debut to DVD. The box set 'Classic Musicals From The Dream Factory' will contain 'It's Always Fair Weather,' 'Summer Stock,' 'Three Little Words,' 'Till The Clouds Roll By,' and 'Ziegfeld Follies.' In addition, the titles will also be sold individually.

With Phantom of the Opera approaching its milestone performance on Jan. 9 as the longest running musical of all time, it seemed a perfect time to check in with the original star - Michael Crawford.

Plans are still under wraps for just how the show will celebrate it's longevity, but original star Michael Crawford's web site reports that he will take part in the celebration.

English National Opera's (ENO) new production of Leonard Bernstein's ON THE TOWN begins March 5, 2005 at the London Coliseum (Press Night March 10, 2005). There will be 17 performances playing in repertory until May 24, 2005.

After a season garnering rave reviews in Judy Garland and Uninvited Company, acclaimed impersonator Kate Botello returns with the holiday extravaganza, Judy's Christmas Garland. As first announced by the MCIFA, Michael Crawford has signed a deal to star in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Sir Trevor Nunn's upcoming new musical 'Woman in White.' The show will also star Maria Friedman (who recently won the Olivier Award for her performance in 'Ragtime'). Crawford will be playing the role of Count Fosco.
