Born in Alderson, West Virginia, Bricktop a singer and dancer, rose to fame as a nightclub owner during the Jazz Age. She opened Chez Bricktop's in Paris in 1926, and eventually became the darling of Paris nightlife and nicknamed the 'Doyenne of Cafe Society.'

The All Night Strut! takes audiences down memory lane with songs from the Great Depression through the post-World War II boom years. Today, Tmapp, in association with CBO Entertainment, announced that the Equity Showcase production of FOR ALL MY GIRLS: A Musical Celebrating the 'Everyday Diva,' has changed venues. Beginning Friday, December 9, 2016, the musical will play MIST Harlem (www.mistharlem.com), uptown's premiere live performance and special event venue through December 20, 2016.

I have been a fan of Music Theatre of Connecticut for a while now, so when I entered their Melissa & Doug theater on opening night of Little Shop of Horrors, I was looking forward to a wonderful evening with this classic piece of musical theatre.
