Aurora's Paramount Theatre - Chicago's most decorated theater at the 2017 Jeff Awards with the third largest subscriber base in the nation - is excited to present the first Chicago-area regional staging of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Once to close its 2017-18 Broadway Series.

The Paley Center for Media today announced Emmy Award-winning writer, producer, and director Ryan Murphy will join beloved entertainer Barbra Streisand in conversation at the opening night of PaleyFest LA 2018 on March 16. The PaleyFest Icon Tribute to Ms. Streisand marks the first time she has been honored for her body of work in television.

ABC has renewed the hit drama series “The Good Doctor” for the 2018-19 season, it was announced today by Channing Dungey, president, ABC Entertainment.

ABC'S THE GOOD DOCTOR and NETFLIX'S ATYPICAL will be receiving special honors at the 2nd Annual AUTFEST International Film Festivalpresented by The Autism Society on April 28-29, 2018 at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills. The announcement was made by Matthew Asner, VP of Development for The Autism Society. AUTFEST is sponsored by Hyundai Motor America and SAG-AFTRA.

The Paley Center for Media today announced the initial group of talent who will be participating in its 35th annual PaleyFest LA, Hollywood's ultimate TV fan festival, March 16-25, at the DOLBY Theatre in Hollywood. Signature Theatre has announced the world premiere production of the new musical August Rush. The musical, adapted from the Oscar and GRAMMY Award-nominated film, features music and lyrics by Mark Mancina, book and lyrics by Glen Berger, and orchestrations and additional music by David Metzger. This premiere production will be directed by John Doyle. August Rush will run from February 5, 2019 - March 3, 2019 in Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre. The production will then transfer to Paramount Theatre in Aurora, Illinois and will run from April 24, 2019 - June 2, 2019.
