CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present vocalist and songwriter Loren Smith on Saturday, November 19 at 7:00 PM. The international touring artist will make his New York debut with “The Love Show” after sold-out West Coast performances.

So far Beau has released an album a month since July starting with his debut album, TRUTH OR NAIR  followed by his sophomore album BEAUDACIOUS in August and third album NAIRLY THAIR in September. Now Beau is ready to release his strongest record to date with his fourth album BEAUNANZA being released on October 7th.

“Ego Death” features Grammy Award-winning guitar virtuoso and composer Steve Vai, most known for his work with Frank Zappa, Mary J Blige, Motörhead, Alice Cooper, and many more. Grammy Award-winning producer and trumpet player Brasstracks also appears on the track. The video features Vai and Brasstracks filmed in Los Angeles.

The album’s composer Alex Wroten is joined by an array of highly acclaimed vocalists to bring the story to life: The Residents, Shawn Phillips, Brian Poole (Renaldo & The Loaf), R. Stevie Moore, Elaine di Falco (Yugen, Caveman Hughscore), Mont Campbell (Egg, National Health), Bob Drake, Amy Denio, Deborah Perry (Thinking Plague) and CHEER-ACCIDENT.

A conceptualist like Frank Zappa, a mixologist like George Clinton, and an experimenter like Sun Ra, the Massachusetts-born, 54-year-old, Somali-American singer-songwriter named Xavier Amin Dphrepaulezz, AKA Fantastic Negrito, concocted his own blues-based, psychedelic sonic stew. Inspired by his growing up on the mean streets of Oakland, CA, Negrito's music is a surreal, twilight-zonish, cosmic blend of sounds with ancient roots and hints of the future. 

New England Conservatory has announced an expansive fall season of classical and contemporary music concerts featuring a diverse roster of ensembles and programming. Ensembles large and small perform in NEC's world-class venues, including Jordan Hall and the Plimpton Shattuck Black Box Theatre.
