The Old Vic has revealed a peek inside rehearsal for the award-winning musical, Groundhog Day, which is making its triumphant to London following its world premiere in 2016. Go inside the sitzprobe as the cast and orchestra bring Tim Minchin's score back to life!

There’s more than a whiff of familiarity down at London’s Waterloo at the moment; Olivier award-winning Groundhog Day is back at the Old Vic and so is Andy Karl, playing the sneering weatherman Phil Connors. We loved it, Broadway didn't, but this revival is a veritable theatrical triumph and a heartwarming treat for anyone lucky enough to get a ticket.

The Old Vic has revealed the full creative team and cast for the award-winning musical, Groundhog Day, which returns to London following its world premiere in 2016.

If John Steinbeck had been asked to create a musical, it may have looked something like this. Soundtracked by the songs of Bob Dylan, Girl From The North Country is, at heart, a bleak meditation on untimely death; not just physically due to illness, murder and suicide (though that’s here too) but also spiritually due to the death of ambition, the death of hope and, most cruelly, the death of love.

The new Dublin & UK Tour production of Girl From The North Country is opening tonight in Dublin at the 3 Olympia Theatre. Written and directed by celebrated playwright Conor McPherson with music and lyrics by Bob Dylan. The production embarks on its first UK tour in August following its opening tonight. Get a first look at photos here!

Full casting is today announced for the award-winning smash-hit production of Girl From  The North Country, written and directed by celebrated playwright Conor McPherson (The  Weir, The Seafarer) with music and lyrics by Bob Dylan.

Be More Chill has announced two new cast members for the final 5 weeks in its strictly limited 10 week run at The Shaftesbury Theatre; Grace Mouat [& Juliet, SIX the Musical] will play Chloe Valentine and Mountview graduate Nathania Ong, making her professional debut, will play Jenna Rolan.

Be More Chill is set to open at The Shaftesbury Theatre for a limited 10 week run from Wednesday 30 June. Bill Kenwright with Jerry Goehring, Lisa Dozier and Paul Taylor-Mills will be reviving the show this summer.

Further casting has been announced for Roles We'll Never Play on Saturday 22nd May at The Vaudeville Theatre in London. Rebecca Gilliland (Wicked), Scott Paige (The Addams Family), Lewis Cornay (The Book of Mormon), Sean Parkins (Wicked), Natalie Green (The Prince Of Egypt) and Alex Weatherhill (Chicago) have joined the lineup.

Roles We'll Never Play is back in the West End for two shows at The Vaudeville Theatre on Saturday 22nd May - 7:30pm and Sunday 23rd May - 7:30pm. After two sell-out shows at The Apollo Theatre in December 2020, the show is back, and will be one of the first shows to open out of lockdown!
