Rec Room Arts has announced that Brandon J. Morgan, Atseko Factor, and Alan Brincks will be featured in its production of Pass Over, a searing new play by Antoinette Nwandu and directed by Mekeva McNeil. This Susan Smith Blackburn Prize Finalist begins a four-week Houston premiere run on February 8 at 7:30 and continues through February 29.

A cast of 45 will present the classic Charles Dickens' tale A CHRISTMAS CAROL at The Sauk, Hillsdale County's community theatre. There are eight performances planned from December 5-8 and 12-15.

Australia's King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have announced two massive career-spanning marathon shows for Spring 2020. The shows, which will run for three hours and incorporate material from all 15 of the band's records, will take place at The Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA on April 18, 2020 and at Red Rocks in Morrison, CA on May 6, 2020. Pre-sale tickets to the shows will be available this Thursday, November 14 at 10am PT, and tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday, November 15 at 10am PT. Australia's King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are soon to embark on a massive headline world tour, just before releasing their fifteenth studio album -- the thrash metal-worshipping Infest The Rats' Nest -- onAugust 16 (ATO Records). The septet will first take on North America, beginning at The Greek Theatrein Los Angeles, CA on August 13, before moving through much of the U.S. and Canada and eventually storming through Europe this October. Santa Monica Playhouse has been a cultural treasure in the seaside community for 60 years. Now, the Playhouse is giving love back with its Fourth Annual Binge Free Festival (BFF), a full month of free performances, workshops, readings, music and poetry in Santa Monica's ONLY fringe festival. The BFF's primary focus will be on Santa Monica and Los Angeles-based artists.

The Boch Center and Live Nation announced that Eros Ramazzotti has rescheduled his Boston appearance of the VITA CE N'È WORLD TOUR at the Boch Center Wang Theatre to Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 8:00PM. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 28 at 10:00AM, and all previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new date.

A revival of the show was a recent smash in London's West End. Set in both the past and the present, the show features chart-topping tunes including 'Is You Is, or Is You Ain't My Baby,' 'Let the Good Times Roll,' and 'Knock Me a Kiss'.

A whole lot of rhythm was goin' down at Live House in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 9, at the 'George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic JammJam' presented by Jammcard. George Clinton, the man who invented P-funk, was in attendance to witness stellar roof-tearing performances by some of his best-known acolytes including Ice Cube, Anderson .Paak, CeeLo Green, Eddie Griffin, Battlecat plus members of the original Parliament Funkadelic. Clinton testified, 'They had me crying like a bitch with tears of joy.'

 Theatrical Outfit (TO) held its annual fundraising gala, 'Our Luckie Stars,' on Saturday, April 27th at its home, The Balzer Theater at Herren's on Luckie Street in the heart of downtown Atlanta. The event honored long-time TO patrons Doug and Florida Ellis and featured silent and live auctions, wonderful food, and exciting entertainment from familiar TO artists. The evening was a celebration of the theatre's mission to provide world-class conversation-starting theatre to inspire a compassionate, joyful, and just community. The gala raised over $123,000, breaking its fundraising goal and surpassing last year's success.

The New American Voices Play Reading Series is a national playwriting contest that annually showcases four top plays by American playwrights.  The winning plays are selected from blind reads of hundreds of submissions by emerging author from across the country. This year the weekend festival event will be held March 15-17 at Stages Repertory Theatre.

Next up at the White Theatre is a joint production with Crown Center's Coterie Theatre of “Disney's Newsies;” a live stage musical version of the 1992 musical film. “Newsies” recalls the real-life newsboys' strike of 1899.   

Dominion Entertainment Group has announced 'Crowns' as its next production to hit the stage. From May 30 - June 10, the gospel musical by Golden Globe winning playwright Regina Taylor, will run at the Fulton County Southwest Arts Center Performance Theater & Gallery.
