New York City Center announced casting updates for the Annual Gala Presentation Pal Joey. Joining the cast are Loretta Devine (replacing Jennifer Holliday) as nightclub owner Lucille Wallace and Jeb Brown as Tony, the gangster who’s caught her eye.

Filmed at The Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in June of 2016, “Hamilton” features Tony Award winners Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton; Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson; Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler; Leslie Odom, Jr. as Aaron Burr; and more. The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Hamilton has become the first Broadway cast recording to be certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America.

New York City Center has announced programming for the 2023 – 2024 Season, 80 Years at the Center of the Arts, which will include productions of Pal Joey, Titanic, Once Upon a Mattress, Jelly's Last Jam, and more!

The Skivvies are back at the new venue The Midnight Theatre this month! There will be two shows on May 24 at 7pm and 9:30pm.

The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan has announced the line-up for fall theater arts programs, happening in-person with the Lambert Center for Arts + Ideas in Goldman-Sonnenfeldt Auditorium and at JCC Harlem.

 Broadway Black presents The 2nd Annual Antonyo Awards, which honors Black theatre artists during the 2021-2022 season. The live, in-person ceremony will be held on Monday, October 10 at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem (253 West 125th Street). Awards in 29 competitive categories and five honorary categories will be presented along with performances and guest appearances. 

Last week, The National Symphony Orchestra presented the world premiere of Grammy award winning singer-songwriters Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear's The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical Live in Concert inspired by the Netflix series at the Kennedy Center. The concert was Directed by Sammi Cannold.
