TexARTS Presents: Million Dollar Quartet

Get a first look at Million Dollar Quartet at TexARTS, now on stage from January 19th through February 11th, 2024.

As BRIAN SETZER gears up to hit the road this spring, the iconic guitarist, songwriter, vocalist, and three-time Grammy Award-winner talked about the five essential songs that served as his inspiration.

Cortland Repertory Theatre Downtown, located at 24 Port Watson Street in Cortland, will present the Central New York debut of Jefferson McDonald's Great Balls of Fire, an exciting and electric tribute created and performed by a former CRT performing intern who has toured the world with this concert event. 

Their new single produced by Jim Kaufman (Danny Worsnop, Helmet, Return to Dust) and mixed by Dan Korneff (My Chemical Romance, Motionless In White, Pierce The Veil), “Suspicious Minds,” is out now. Having done dates with several of rock's top acts like Stone Temple Pilots, The Winery Dogs, and Saint Asonia, they will head to South America.

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and Funny Girl star Melissa Manchester is gearing up to captivate audiences once again with her latest single and accompanying music video, 'Just Too Many People.' The accompanying music video unfolds within the iconic streets of New York City, capturing the spirit of the song through camera angles.

 Acclaimed producer, director, and playwright Eric Rosen,  in his inaugural season at the historic Cape Playhouse, has announced a five-show lineup teeming with  music, mystery, comedy, and great storytelling.  Learn more about the lineup here!

The shows will include songs from his a cappella group The Nylons, along with a few teasers focusing on his upcoming '2nd Great American Songbook” ( Alma / Universal Music Canada),  with tunes by Carole King, Burt Bacharach, Smokey Robinson featuring a top-notch band of Michael Shand on piano, bassist Russ Boswell and Amhed Mitchel on drums.

Central Indiana Dance Ensemble (CIDE), located in Carmel, takes their first step toward The Ballet Alliance Festival in Spokane, WA on February 13. CIDE will take approximately 25 of their senior level dancers to the Festival during the first week of May.

Rock and Roll Hall and Country Music Hall of Famer Brenda Lee's iconic holiday hit “Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree” has achieved a new milestone, hitting 1 billion streams on Spotify, a first for Lee. The hit song, which broke multiple records this past holiday season, also spent most of the season at Number 1 on Spotify's Top 50 US chart.
