Blue Note Recording Artist and Multi-Grammy-Award Winner Cassandra Wilson is a world renowned vocalist, songwriter and producer. At heart Cassandra is a Mississippi girl whose art reflects her deep musical and cultural roots. After studying with Ellis Marsalis in New Orleans, she established her career in New York City. She has since moved back and rediscovered her Mississippi roots. Cassandra makes her return to The Music Hall on the heels of her 2009 Grammy-Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album, Loverly.

The owners of The Rrazz Room 'The two Rs' -- Robert Kotonly and Rory Paull -- celebrate their 2nd year anniversary with not only a star-studded lineup of performers, but also a dynamic team of players dedicated to upholding its status as 'The Premier Nightclub of the West Coast.' With a seating capacity of approximately 170, The Rrazz Room is one of the few places in the San Francisco Bay Area where you can experience live performances up close and personal. Last year's gala sold out, so advance ticket purchase highly recommended. Partial proceeds from this very special evening will benefit Haiti Relief/American Red Cross.

Iconic funny man Bill Cosby, who has been making audiences laugh for decades with his keen insight into everyday existence, will be honored by a variety of former co-stars and luminaries, including Len Chandler, James De Priest, Danny Glover, Dick Gregory Jimmy Heath, George Lopez, Wynton Marsalis, Rita Moreno, Willie Nelson, Phylicia Rashad, Carl Reiner, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Sinbad, and Malcolm-Jamal Warner in a salute at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 8pm as Cosby receives the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

The week-long multidisciplinary festival, which kicks off Monday, October 22 (through Sunday, October 28) at New York City's Theater for the New City, will be FREE to the public.
