The Drama League today announced the 2022 Drama League Awards Nominees and we've got all the nominations for for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, Outstanding Direction of a Play, Outstanding Direction of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award.

A short film adaptation of the play Stalking the Bogeyman is underway, starring Tony Award winner Santino Fontana and Tony Award nominee Thomas Sadoski. The project is currently in production, with distribution plans to be announced.

Harry Townsend's Last Stand, a new play written by George Eastman (The Snow Job; Bitter Exchange) and directed by Karen Carpenter (Love, Loss and What I Wore; Handle With Care) currently stars Tony® Award winner Len Cariou and David Lansbury (Broadway: War Horse, Hedda Gabler, The Heidi Chronicles; Michael Clayton; 'Oz' on HBO). The play has been extended until April 5th.

Harry Townsend's Last Stand a new play written by George Eastman (The Snow Job; Bitter Exchange) and directed by Karen Carpenter (Love, Loss and What I Wore; Handle With Care) has announced that beginning Monday, March 9, Tony® Award winner Len Cariou will be joined by David Lansbury (Broadway: War Horse, Hedda Gabler, The Heidi Chronicles; Michael Clayton; 'Oz' on HBO). Lansbury replaces Craig Bierko in the role of Harry Townsend's son, Alan.

Al Dente Productions will present a salon industry reading of the new romantic comedy Alfo Learns to Love by Vincent Amelio. Directed by Dennis Grimaldi, the cast will feature Warren Bub, Peter Evangelista, Armen Garo and Bridget Winder. Dennis Grimaldi will present Tony®Award-winner Len Cariou (Sweeney Todd) in two staged readings ofHarry Townsend's Last Stand, a new play by George Eastman.  Directed by two-time Emmy®Award-winner Peter Scolari (Wicked) and featuring Warren Bub ('Gotham'), the readings will be held on Monday, May 21 and Tuesday, May 22 at 3pm at Nola Studios (250 West 54th Street - 10th Floor/Studio 1).
