Let the bells peal!  Ring in the holidays with a classic tale.  Long Island's newest theatrical venue The Argyle Theatrepresents the musical The Hunchback of Notre Dame, based on the novel by Victor Hugo and songs from the Disney film originally developed by Disney Theatrical Productions, with music by Alan Menkin, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and book by Peter Parnell.

The CUNY Dance Initiative (CDI), an unprecedented model for collaboration between the City University of New York (CUNY) and New York City dance artists, announces its Fall 2018 calendar of events.

Fadi J. Khoury's FJK Dance will return to NYC for the company's FIFTH ANNIVERSARY SEASON with three premieres plus repertory on Thursday, September 13 (7pm) and Saturday, September 15 (7:30pm). Performances are part of the CUNY Dance Initiative and will take place at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College, 524 West 59th Street. Tickets are $25-$45 ($10 students), and available via www.fjkdance.com.

It's Memphis, Tennessee and disc jockey Huey Calhoun is showcasing a bright new singer and musical style on his radio show. The hip new sound of Felicia Farrell becomes a hit over the airwaves and the amateur is ultimately headed for stardom. Huey and Felicia's relationship goes from professional to personal and trouble ensues. Romance, racism, and rock and roll all serve as the backdrop for the Gateway Theater's magnificent production of 'Memphis.'

Broadway's smash hit musicalMemphis, winner of four Tony Awards® including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Book and Best Orchestrations, will open at The Gateway on July 6th and run through July 21st with preview performances on July 5th.

Both performances begin at 7:30pm, followed by a Q&A with the choreographer and a cocktail reception. Doors open at 7pm.
