Join Performance Network Theatre during the holidays for the fervent tale of six-time Tony Award- Winning romantic musical, A Little Night Music with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler on November 15 through December 30, 2012 starring Naz Edwards as Desiree and John Seibert as Fredrik. Ann Arbor's Professional Theatre, Performance Network, whose award-winning productions have been fulfilling its mission "to provide uncompromising artistic leadership in the region and produce works that engage, challenge and inspire audiences and artists" for years, announces a program that will deepen its ability to serve artists by offering a comprehensive training curriculum designed to provide professional acting and business skills to a wide variety of students.

Though Ann Arbor's professional theatre is still in the thick of its record-breaking 30th anniversary season, Performance Network has lined up seven exceptional plays and musicals for its 31st, to begin in the fall.

While many theatres close for the summer months, Performance Network is full steam ahead, offering audiences an array of entertainment options, including the upcoming Fireside Festival of New Works. As part of the theatre's continued dedication to support and provide a voice for playwrights, the series will be held today, June 24 through June 27, 2012. This festival of staged readings will feature new works by four playwrights, including Network regulars Joseph Zettelmaier and Kim Carney.

As announced earlier in the season, Performance Network Theatre has been in the process of restructuring their non-profit organization to increase the support of their award-winning Artistic department, while creating greater capacity in Management. PNT is happy to announce the appointment of Erin Sabo as the Managing Director, allowing the theatre to adopt the dual management structure that is the industry standard for producing professional theatres, as well as expand its Artistic programs.

This fund raising event will be held on Saturday March 24th at 6pm at Kensington Court Hotel. Tickets are still available and will be sold through March 16.

In just two weeks, on September 22nd, Performance Network Theatre will launch its 30th anniversary season with a Gala cabaret featuring a variety of beloved local acts. Entertainment for the event was announced today with popular singing trio The Chenille Sisters and Grammy winner Bill Bolcom and Joan Morris at the top of the list. Each act will perform a cabaret set on the evening's theme 'Diamonds and Pearls' to coincide with the modern and traditional gifts for a 30th anniversary.
