BBC AMERICA has signed comedian, writer and web pundit Chris Hardwick to host the channel's new Saturday night comedy block, Ministry of Laughs, and has committed to a pilot/special based on Hardwick's hit Nerdist podcast. The pilot will be a BBC AMERICA original program.

Little Britain Star Matt Lucas whose partner Kevin McGee committed suicide five months ago, has spoken out for the first time about the tragedy. McGee and Lucas had been together for six years, but things began to fall apart shortly after their marriage in 2006. The pair divorced 10 months ago. In a story in the News of The World, Lucas says, 'I've had three f****** terrible years in my personal life.'

Joining the current London cast to celebrate were composer Elton John, director Stephen Daldry, writer Lee Hall, Haydn Gwynne who played the original Mrs Wilkinson and Tim Healy who played Bllly's original Dad, and 19 past, present and future Billys Elliots. Guests included David Furnish, David Walliams, Lara Stone and Alexander Lebedev.
Paul Rudd and Zach Galifianakis Reunite for 'Will'

Broadway vet Paul Rudd will be teaming up with Zach Galifianakis yet again for the upcoming comedy 'Will,' which Perez Hilton summarizes as centering around 'Rudd whose life and destiny is being written by a scribe in Heaven played by Galifianakis. But one day the scribe stops writing and it's up to Rudd to go on about his day on his own.' Demetri Martin wrote the script and Little Miss Sunshine's Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton are directing.
