Goodspeed's 2013 Norma Terris Theatre Season will feature three musicals: a not-so-traditional barbershop quartet entertains in The Fabulous Lipitones; a marvelous summer musical yet to be announced; and Snapshots: A Musical Scrapbook, an original tuner about trusting your heart and believing in your memories which features well-known tunes from Wicked, Godspell,Pippin and many more. Tickets go on sale for the upcoming season Sunday, March 24th. The Box Office will open at 10 a.m. and audience members are encouraged to call early for the best choice of seats.

Today at Goodspeed's 8th annual Festival of New Artists, the two-time Tony Award-winning theatre announced plans for the production of a new musical, Snapshots: A Musical Scrapbook. This original tuner is about trusting your heart and believing in your memories. With Book by David Stern and Music and Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the creator of nearly a dozen hit musicals it is unique storytelling at its best. The production will run this fall at the Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Connecticut, Goodspeed's home for new musicals.

Pianist Rudolf Buchbinder to Release New Recording of Mozart Piano Concertos

The "Viennese oracle" (The Philadelphia Inquirer) pianist Rudolf Buchbinder will release his newest Sony Classical album, a recording of Mozart's Piano Concertos No. 23 in A Major, K. 488 and No. 25 in C Major, K. 503 with conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt and Concentus Musicus Vienna, in the US and the UK on January 22, 2013. The recording is a live account of Buchbinder's concerts with Concentus Musicus at the Vienna Musikverein in June 2012.
