Gingold Theatrical Group is presenting SPEAKER'S CORNER Writers Group. This season, writers Aeneas Sagar Hemphill, Divya Mangwani, Marcus Scott and Mallory Jane Weiss are developing works in response to prompts from the revolutionary activist humanitarian writings and precepts of George Bernard Shaw.

Gingold Theatrical Group today announced that Brenda Braxton, Alison Frasier, Harriet Harris, David Lee Huynh, Judith Ivey, Jefferson Mays, Charlotte Moore, Thom Sesma, Renee Taylor, Jon Patrick Walker, Karen Ziemba, and more will join the SHAKESPEARE SONNET SOIRÉE in honor of Shakespeare’s 458th birthday.

David Staller, Artistic Director of Gingold Theatrical Group, today announced that in honor of Shakespeare’s 458th birthday, GTG would celebrate with a SHAKESPEARE SONNET SOIRÉE – live, online, on Saturday April 23rd at 6PM EDT. FREE! Livestream on the GTG Facebook page. 

In his only Long Island appearance this year, humor writer David Sedaris brings his wit and unique observations of human nature to audiences at the Staller Center for the Arts, Friday,  April 22, 2022 at 8:00P.M. 

David Staller, Artistic Director of Gingold Theatrical Group, today announced additional guest stars for the Irish Poetry Slam: Tony Award nominee Reg Rogers, Drama Desk Award winner Laila Robins, and acclaimed illustrator and caricaturist Justin 'Squigs' Robertson will join the previously announced an all-star company.

Gingold Theatrical Group presented the next presentation of the 2021 - '22 Season of Project Shaw, a special series of evenings offering some of Shaw's greatest works and those of his contemporaries, presented monthly at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2537 Broadway at 95th Street).

Gingold Theatrical Group will continue its new play development with the Phase 1 Plays-In-Progress virtual table readings of this year's SPEAKER'S CORNER Writers Group. This season, Kate Douglas, Aeneas Sagar Hemphill, Divya Mangwani, Seth McNeill, Sophie Sagan-Gutherz, and Marcus Scott are developing works in response to Shaw's Arms and the Man. 

In honor of Shakespeare’s birthday Gingold Theatrical Group will celebrate with a SHAKESPEARE SONNET SLAM live online on Friday April 23rd at 6PM EDT.
