The Actors' Gang's U.S. Premiere Production of Harlequino: On to Freedom has extended its run to May 20th. 

Today, the producers of 'Spamilton,' the critically acclaimed parody of 'Hamilton,' will extend its Chicago production for an open-ended run at the Royal George Theatre (1641 N. Halsted).

SPAMILTON, the critically acclaimed off-Broadway parody of Lin-Manuel Miranda's sensation, officially opened on Sunday, March 12 at the Royal George Theatre in Chicago. In attendance that evening were HAMILTON Chicago cast members, including Wayne Brady. The Actors' Gang's new musical production of Harlequino: On to Freedom will have its U.S. Premiere on March 25, as part of the theater's 2017 Spring Season of Justice. Written and directed by Tim Robbins, Harlequino: On to Freedom is a raucous celebration of the rebel slave, Harlequino.

Virginia Repertory Theatre opens the World Premiere of The End of War by David L. Robbins on March 10, 2017, on the Arenstein Stage at the Sara Belle and Neil November Theatre, 114 West Broad Street. The End of War will have two preview performances on March 8 and 9, 2017, and will run through March 26, 2017.

"Spamilton," the critically acclaimed off-Broadway parody of Lin-Manuel Miranda's sensation, "Hamilton," has set casting for its regional premiere in Chicago at the Royal George Theatre (1641 N. Halsted). Created by Tony Award honoree Gerard Alessandrini, the mastermind behind "Forbidden Broadway," the show features an all-Chicago ensemble including Donterrio Johnson, Adam LaSalle, Michelle Lauto, Eric Andrew Lewis, Yando Lopez and David Robbins. "Spamilton" begins performances Friday, March 3 at the Royal George Theatre's Cabaret/Studio Theatre.

Lwanda Sindaphi's KUDU is set in the year 2030. The AmaXhosa Nation has taken over the Eastern Cape in an attempt to utilise the land for their own prosperity.

The Actors' Gang's Cynthia Ettinger ever so smoothly directs her very exceptional cast as they infuse life to six real-life, wrongly convicted death row survivors and the peripheral people besides them. Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen's script of THE EXONERATED vividly illustrates how these six people managed to find themselves at the crosshairs of the American criminal justice executioner.

One of South Africa's longest standing and most celebrated theatre companies, Magnet Theatre, presents two new works: 23 YEARS, A MONTH AND 7 DAYS by Nwabisa Plaatjie and KUDU by Lwanda Sindaphi. The productions are the culmination of Magnet's year-long theatre-making internship programme.
