TheaterWorks Announces The 5th Play Of The 19-20 Season - THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT

Theaterworks Producing Artistic Director, Rob Ruggiero announced the 5th play in its 2019-2020 Season today. Last year's celebrated Broadway comedy, The Lifespan of a Fact by Jeremy Kareken & David Murrell and Gordon Farrell will make its Connecticut premiere January 30th through March 8, 2020. Ruggiero said 'TheaterWorks is one of the few theaters across the country granted the rights to produce this show this year and we're thrilled. It's an ingenious play - a comedic struggle between truth and accuracy and all the grey spaces in between. It couldn't be more timely, more topical.'
BWW Review: THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT: Regional Premiere at Gloucester Stage Company

Gloucester Stage Company is the first theater in the country to produce THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT following its SRO limited run on Broadway. Based on the 2012 essay/book co-written by John D'Agata and Jim Fingal, the play explores the conflict between an unorthodox author (D'Agata) and the young fact-checker (Fingal) assigned by his magazine editor to vet a groundbreaking piece about a teen's suicide in Las Vegas. GSC mounts its production with local luminary and Academy Award nominee Lindsay Crouse, New York and Off-Broadway actor Mickey Solis, and recent Harvard University graduate Derek Speedy, making his Gloucester debut, under the direction of the estimable Sam Weisman.

Three weeks currently remain in the strictly limited engagement through Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th Street). The Actors Fund announced today that The Lifespan of a Fact has added a Special Benefit Performance for The Actors Fund on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). The world premiere play, THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT, has announced a new performance schedule on Broadway. Beginning Thursday, October 25, 2018, THE LIFESPAN OF A FACT will play Monday, Friday, and Saturday at 8pm, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 2pm at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). The production opened on Broadway on October 18 to critical acclaim.
