Theatre Together, a new collective of over 100 artists and professionals, today announced the full programme for All the Web's a Stage an online fundraising event featuring a variety of live performances that will be streamed tomorrow, Thursday 23 April from midday to midnight.

The West End production of Waitress, which recently temporarily closed due to the current health crisis, has announced via Twitter and their website, that the show will not be re-opening.

It may feel like a strange time to celebrate World Theatre Day, but while we can't gather together in person right now, we can still appreciate the incredible performances that have inspired us - and look forward to when theatres reopen and the shows can go on!

Recorded live at his series of sell-out gigs at The Other Palace, West End Video is proud to present David Hunter's original song, 'Hand on my Heart'. The song is the first of a series of live videos to be released from Hunter's gigs, featuring Andy Picton on cajon and Jamie Cameron on cello. With this new line-up of musicians, Hunter has promised studio recordings will follow, showcasing a collection of new songs.

Lambert Jackson Productions and the Theatre Café today announce the line-up for the first week of their Leave A Light On series.

Sara Bareilles has just announced, via a statement on the Waitress London Twitter account, that she and Gavin Creel will be ending their performances in the show on 14 March, instead of playing until 21 March as arranged. The decision is related to international travel restrictions in relation to the coronavirus outbreak.

Lucie Jones and David Hunter will return to the roles of Jenna and Dr Pomatter in the 2020 Olivier Award nominated musical Waitress from Monday 23 March. Waitress is nominated for Best New Musical and Best New Original Score for music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles who is currently performing with Gavin Creel at the Adelphi Theatre until 21 March. NaTasha Yvette Williams joins the Waitress company in the role of Becky.

On Friday 31st January, David Hunter, most recently seen playing Dr Pomatter in Waitress, played an intimate acoustic solo concert at The Other Palace Studio, London. As well as a successful career in theatre, David is also an accomplished singer-songwriter and recently released 'The Farm Song' in late 2019, which has already racked up 50,000 streams on Spotify, with more planned new releases in 2020.

On Friday 31st January, David Hunter, most recently seen playing Dr Pomatter in Waitress, played an intimate acoustic solo concert at The Other Palace Studio, London. As well as a successful career in theatre, David is also an accomplished singer-songwriter and recently released 'The Farm Song' in late 2019, which has already racked up 50,000 streams on Spotify, with more planned new releases in 2020.

On the subject about his newest song, Hand On My Heart, David told us this: 'It's a new one, it's raw and painful and I love it! I get this feeling like I'm screaming out into the universe - it's incredibly cathartic. Feels like a kind of musical primal scream therapy!'
