Weston Playhouse Theatre Company has announced a return to live performance with the first production of its 2021 season: AN ILIAD, running July 14 – August 6 under the Tent at Walker Farm.

Weston Playhouse Theatre Company Executive Artistic Director Susanna Gellert announces New Works program selection, NATIVE AUTHORS by Erik Brogger, a new play based on the short stories of Weldon Kees. Set in a community not unlike our own here in Vermont, this play is a portrait of a small town - Weston, Nebraska - attempting to get on the map during the Great Depression. Brogger's plays have been produced Off-Broadway and in regional theaters throughout the country and in the UK. For the past 30 years, he has taught creative writing and playwriting at Hofstra University. His recent work includes the teleplay THE FUTURISTS.

The Weston Playhouse Theatre is thrilled to present the five-time Tony Award-winning musical Fun Home to its new flexible 140-seat Second Stage, Weston Playhouse at Walker Farm. Refreshingly honest and wildly innovative, Fun Home is based on Vermont author and cartoonist Alison Bechdel's acclaimed graphic memoir. Audiences will follow Bechdel at three different life stages as she grows and grapples with her uniquely dysfunctional family, her sexuality, and her father's secrets.

Vermont's award-winning Weston Playhouse Theatre Company unveils a blockbuster 2018 line-up, the largest in the theatre's history. The season includes three productions on the company's Main Stage at the historic Weston Playhouse and four productions at its stunning new Second Stage, Weston Playhouse at Walker Farm, plus pre-theatre dining, post-show Cabaret, and periodic special events.

On September 23, 2017, Weston Playhouse at Walker Farm celebrated its Grand Opening. Located on a 5-acre farmstead north of the Weston Playhouse on Route 100/Main Street, the new facility complements the theatre company's summer use of the historic flagship Weston Playhouse on the Weston Village Green. Over 650 enthusiastic well-wishers made their way to Weston for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and an afternoon of performances, outdoor music, and self-guided tours.

"Seventy-six Trombones" are coming to the Weston Playhouse stage this August! In the true Weston tradition of bringing award-winning classics to the stage, the company will present the Grammy and Tony Award-winning musical, THE MUSIC MAN. Beginning performances on August 3, this production promises to be a crowd pleaser for all ages.

The Weston Playhouse Theatre Company's Weston 101 series returns in February for its second year in a brand-new format:  six engaging and insightful videos about the up-coming season will now be free and easy to view directly on the Weston Playhouse website. 

After a successful New York run, comedian Theresa Kloos brings her new one woman comedy show REASONS TO BE UNSUCCESSFUL to Cleveland at The Bop Stop, 2920 Detroit Ave,  Cleveland OH on Feb 2nd at 8:00pm.

After a smashing debut in June, comedian Theresa Kloos returns with her new one woman comedy show "Reasons To Be Unsuccessful" at The Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, on Sept. 2nd at 9:30pm. Her first show, "Reasons To Be Unpretty" was a hilarious exploration of the trials and tribulations of a funny, albeit awkward girl growing up in Cleveland.

Continuing a full tilt schedule of summer entertainment, Weston Playhouse will present one of Broadway's longest-running hits and the feel-good musical of the season, Mamma Mia! on its MainStage from August 4th- August 20th.

Back with her brand new one woman show, comedian Theresa Kloos returns to the Metropolitan Room with her comedy cabaret 'Reasons To Be Unsuccessful' at The Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, on June 5th at 9:30pm.
