We Shall Not be Moved, new play at the Coterie Theatre in Kansas City, MO From seamless production to well-honed acting, this is a story that relates to audiences from tweenagers to older adults with clear resonance. Telling such a story, of how the failure to embrace differences affects all of society, is a potent tale of humanity in both its ugly and more beautiful moments.

In the seventh presentation of the popular Rep Lab, the short-play festival features the company's Emerging Professional Residents (EPR) in acting, directing and technical theater to showcase their talent. This year, nine one act play along with a devised play written by the Emerging Professionals appeared in the Stiemke Studio for an intriguing evening of theater. Eight actors, seven directors, and four designers comprise the EPR team. In an interesting mix of plays, many examine the angst in relationships: communal, personal and professional within a wide time frame that also embodies considerable emotional range

What could be a better holiday gift to Milwaukee than a World Premiere adaptation of Dickens' beloved A Christmas Carol? On Friday night, Artistic Director Mark Clements opened his resplendent adaptation for the Milwaukee Repertory Theater in the gorgeous Pabst Theatre. In this innovative adaptation by Clements in collaboration with a stunning artistic team, the production renewed holiday magic in the company's 41st year for the city that Clements and The Rep call home.

Milwaukee Rep is excited to present a new, family friendly adaptation of Charles Dicken's A CHRISTMAS CAROL, written by Rep Artistic Director Mark Clements, featuring the same traditional story and characters you love. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Highlights include Alec Walberg who won 'Best Actor in a Musical' for his role in LEGALLY BLONDE at Stage Right Performing Arts, Vanessa Severo who takes 'Best Actress in a Play' for THE MIRACLE WORKER at The Coterie, and Wai Yim, winning 'Best Actor in a Play' for Unicorn Theatre's THE OLDEST BOY.  Thanks to all who voted, and huge congratulations to all the winners!
