Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston will open its 48th consecutive summer season with Rodgers and Hammerstein's masterpiece CAROUSEL from June 9-19, 2016. 

THE WILD PARTY is exactly what it says it is, and Moonbox Productions invites you to be a voyeur for the Michael John Lachiusa version of Joseph Moncure March's 1928 risque narrative poem, directed and choreographed by Rachel Bertone. The 20th Annual Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) Awards were held on April 11 at the Holiday Inn Boston/Brookline. Founded by Beverly Creasey of the Journal Newspapers and Larry Stark of the TheaterMirror in 1997, the IRNE Awards recognize the extraordinary wealth of talent in the Boston theatre community.

Katie Anne Clark and Jennifer Ellis are dynamite as the dynamic Sherwood sisters in the Reagle Music Theatre production of WONDERFUL TOWN, an old-fashioned musical comedy with music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Moonbox Productions opens its fifth season with THE MUSICAL OF MUSICALS (THE MUSICAL!), with seamless direction and choreography by Rachel Bertone and music direction by Dan Rodriguez. OBERON, the American Repertory Theater's (A.R.T.) second stage and club theater venue on the fringe of Harvard Square, announces all the offerings to be presented at OBERON during October and November, in addition to the previously announced productions, including Visiting Artists, Artists in Residence, and Usual Suspects.

Writer/director Kevin Cirone's labor of love is having its world premiere in the subterranean Davis Square Theater in Somerville. Good musical variety and an ensemble of eager, committed actors are among the positive attributes, but character development and storyline need some fine-tuning.

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston brings back this crowd-pleasing British musical comedy about a cockney gent who learns that he is the 14th heir to the Earl of Hareford, but must choose between love and money. Director/Choreographer Cynthia Thole appeared in the original Broadway revival of ME AND MY GIRL and transmits her familiarity with the show to an exuberant cast, led by engaging, talented Peabody native Joshua Holden.

Director David Hugo returns and sets the bar high with topnotch performances from Katie Clark, Peter S.
