There's a funny saying that's been going around for the past few years: 'It's funny... 'cause it's true!' While some aspects of this particular show have been exaggerated for (relatively) full comic effect, Second City's CAN YOU BE MORE PACIFIC? (now playing at The Laguna Playhouse thru April 11) hilariously skewers the over-the-top personality types that have become infamously synonymous with the citizenry of Orange County: wealthy, egostic, (predominantly) Republican, luxury-indulgent, overly nipped-and-tucked, and seemingly comfortable with life behind the so-called Orange Curtain.

Steve Martin, the multi-talented Grammy and Emmy Award-winning actor and comedian who has recently reached new pinnacles as a musician, will perform 'An Evening of Bluegrass and Banjo' with the Steep Canyon Rangers at Hennepin Theatre Trust's State Theatre, Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 7 p.m. His first bluegrass album, 'The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Bango,' was released in May 2009 by Rounder Records, where it stayed at No. 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass Album chart for 12 weeks. 'The Crow' was also awarded the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album (Vocal or Instrumental) in January 2010.

Michele will voice the title character of Dorothy, while Chenoweh will voice the character of China Doll Princess. The movie is based on the 'More Adventures of Oz' novels written by Roger S. Baum - great-grandson of L. Frank Baum's.
