TACT/The Actors Company Theatre presents the Off Broadway premiere of HARD LOVE, the searing 2003 play by Israeli playwright Motti Lerner. This first play of the 2015/16 season -- the company's 23rd -- is directed by TACT Artistic & Executive Director Scott Alan Evans, who most recently directed Beyond Therapy by Christopher Durang. The show is currently playing at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre. The play celebrated its opening last night, October 11th, and performances continue through October 31, 2015. The celebratory evening will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception featuring a silent auction and the popular 'Pick-a-Prize' Raffle, where attendees can select which prize they want to win, followed by dinner and live auction featuring celebrity auctioneer David Silverman at 7:30 p.m.

For two nights only, on April 17 and 18, they will speak, sing, dance, and shape-shift their stories to life as part of GRRRLS NIGHT OUT: an all-star fundraising performance for GRRRL scholarships, to be held at the Darkhorse Theater, 4610 Charlotte Avenue in Nashville.

T. Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announces that applications for the third annual T. Fellowship will be accepted through May 15, 2015.

The critically-acclaimed and Drama Desk nominated Off-Broadway company "dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit," will offer two works featuring strong, powerful female characters. The Killing of Sister George, the ground-breaking play by Frank Marcus and Abundance, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Beth Henley's (Crimes of the Heart) tall tale set in the Great American West, will be presented at The Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Theatre Row.

According to Variety, acting teacher George Morrison, who throughout his career worked with such stars as Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, Edie Falco and more, recently passed away. He was 86 years old.
