The Amoralists are currently presenting the World Premiere of The Bad and the Better, written by Derek Ahonen, directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin and featuring The Amoralists acting ensemble. The acclaimed downtown theater company moved uptown for this six-week Off-Broadway run that began on June 14, and continues through July 21 at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, located at 416 West 42 Street between 9 and 10 Avenues in New York City. Last night, November 15, Montblanc presented the 10th annual THE 24 HOUR PLAYS ON BROADWAY at The American Airlines Theatre. The one night only performance benefits Urban Arts Partnership, an organization that brings arts education into New York City classrooms. Participating in the event was Leslie Bibb (Iron Man), Guillermo Diaz (Weeds), Rachel Dratch (Saturday Night Live), America Ferrera (Emmy Award winner for Ugly Betty), Gaby Hoffman (Life During Wartime), Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker), Christopher Meloni (Law and Order: SVU), Diane Neal (Law and Order: SVU), Rosie Perez (Artistic Board Chair of Urban Arts Partnership), Kyra Sedgwick (Emmy Award winner for The Closer), Sarah Silverman (The Sarah Silverman Show), Fisher Stevens (Oscar Winning producer of The Cove ), Julia Stiles (Oleanna), Tracie Thoms, Lynn Nottage and others.
