The Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street, NYC) box office opens today, Friday, September 5 at 10 a.m., for tickets to Bernard Pomerance's Tony Award-winning play THE ELEPHANT MAN. Starring two-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson and Alessandro Nivola, the production is directed by Tony Award nominee Scott Ellis. Performances begin on Friday, November 7, 2014 and the production officially opens on Sunday, December 7, 2014. This is a limited engagement through Sunday, February 15.

The Tony nominated star of Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Kristine Nielsen, will offer a tribute to Mr. Durang. Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley will offer a tribute to Mr. Sultan. The evening will feature performances by Rachel DeBenedet (Catch Me If You Can, Addams Family), Alan Paul (Grease, Oliver!, Manhattan Transfer), Michele Ragusa (Urinetown, Ragtime, A Class Act, Adrift in Macao), and Alton F. White (The Color Purple, The Lion King, Ragtime).

Broadway's bloody brilliant new musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, has announced a rush ticket policy. A number of $35 tickets will be made available for each performance for patrons aged thirty-five and younger. These tickets must be purchased day-of, in-person at the box office and are subject to availability. Valid photo I.D. will be required, and patrons are limited to two rush tickets per performance.

Christopher Durang's new comedy, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play, will end its extended premiere on Broadway at the Golden Theatre today, August 25.

Tony Award-winner Julie White steps into the role of 'Masha' in Christopher Durang's new comedy, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, tonight, Tuesday, July 30. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike began performances on Tuesday, March 5 and opened on Thursday, March 14.

The hit off-Broadway comedy, Buyer & Cellar, starring Michael Urie ('Ugly Betty'), written by Jonathan Tolins, and directed by Stephen Brackett, opened last night at the Barrow Street Theatre, and is scheduled to run through September 1 only. Producers Joey Parnes and Larry Hirschhorn have announced that Christopher Durang's new comedy, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which last night won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play, will again extend its premiere Broadway engagement at the Golden Theatre. With this second and final extension, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike will now end its run Sunday, August 25 (it was originally scheduled to end its run on Sunday, June 30). The critically lauded play has swept the awards circuit this year, having now been named Best Play by every major theatrical awards organization including the aforementioned Tony Awards, the New York Drama Critics' Circle, the Drama Desk, the Drama League, and the Outer Critics Circle. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike began performances on Tuesday, March 5 and opened on Thursday, March 14.

In its place, Flux will be staging the world premiere of August Schulenburg's JACOB'S HOUSE, a play inspired by the loss of J.B. Playwright August Schulenburg has taken the themes, style, design elements, staging concept, and cast from Flux's planned production of J.B., and used them as inspiration to write his own unique riff on the story of Jacob wrestling the Angel.

Due to rights issues, Flux Theatre Ensemble will not be producing Archibald MacLeish's play, J.B. as previously planned.
