The first Broadway revival of August Wilson's 1987 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play FENCES, broke the box office record for the second time at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, NYC) for the week ending June 6, 2010, grossing $1,024,316.50.

Universal Pictures Stage Productions, Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions in association with Weinstein Live Entertainment announced today that the 2009 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Billy Elliot the Musical, featuring music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, choreography by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry, will be presented in San Francisco as part of the 2010-2011 SHN Best of Broadway season.

Fueling the already-started rumors, the 2010 Off-Broadway musicals BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON and THE KID may receive commercial productions, the New York Times has reported.
