Producers of Moulin Rouge! The Musical announced today that a new block of tickets will go on sale on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 10:00 am ET for performances through November 8, 2020. Recently nominated for a 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, Moulin Rouge! The Musical is now playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
MOULIN ROUGE! Welcomes 70 Students to Today's Matinee in Honor of its 100th Performance

Producers of Moulin Rouge! The Musical announced today that the production will commemorate its 100th Broadway performance by partnering with the organization Broadway for All to welcome 70 New York City area arts students as special guests at today's matinee performance. Following the show, the students will have the opportunity to participate in a talkback with the cast, led by Tony Award-winner Karen Olivo.

The Al Hirschfeld Theatre box office opens today, Monday, May 6, for tickets to Moulin Rouge! The Musical, based on the 2001 Twentieth Century Fox Motion Picture by Baz Luhrmann. Moulin Rouge! The Musical will begin performances on June 28, 2019 ahead of a July 25 opening night.
Uptown Dancers Turn Olympic-Size Pool into Stage for the 3rd Annual Danza Highbridge Festival

The United Palace of Cultural Arts is currently in preparations for the third annual Danza Highbridge Festival at Highbridge Pool in Washington Heights. On Saturday September 22nd at 5pm, members of the community are invited to join over eighty dancers, choreographers, and musicians in a drained, olympic-size wading pool for an afternoon dance showcase and celebration. This year's festival is free to attend and will feature a variety of dance styles, including Jazz, Modern, Contemporary Indian, Bachata, Theatre Dance, and more. Following the performance, spectators are invited to the dance floor to join in a Fiesta Latina, lead by Ximena Salgado from the Dance Project of Washington Heights. Festival organizers suggest bringing a towel, blanket, or beach chair to sit on during the performance.

The Board of Directors of the Canadian Heritage Arts Society (CHAS, Victoria, BC) is very pleased to announce that Caleb Marshall will join the society as Managing Director of the Canadian College of Performing Arts (CCPA) effective April 20, 2018. After an extensive national search led by the Board of Directors and our co-founders, Jacques Lemay and Janis Dunning, Caleb was unanimously chosen for the skill, experience and leadership he displayed throughout the interview process and within his career as an accomplished leader in the performing arts sector.
