Irish Repertory Theatre announced today that Ben Davis (Violet, A Little Night Music) will join the cast of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER in the role of "Dr. Mark Bruckner" beginning Thursday, August 9.

Twin brothers Jack and Benny Lipson, professionally known as the critically acclaimed jackbenny, will make their Chicago debut at Stage 773 on Wednesday, July 25, at 7:30pm. The duo will present Happiness is Trending, a two-act show featuring wittily provocative original songs, uniquely arranged covers, and friendly guest performers … all seasoned with the brothers' signature sibling shtick.

jackbenny will present the fifth edition of their monthly residency at the Lyric Hyperion Theatre in Silver Lake on Sunday, July 8, at 7pm. Percussionist Theo Seidmon will team with the Lipson duo in a two-act show that features wittily provocative original songs, uniquely arranged covers, and friendly guest performers … all seasoned with the brothers' signature sibling shtick.

Irish Repertory Theatre will present world premiere of WILD ABANDON by Leenya Rideout (War Horse). Directed by Lisa Rothe (Hold These Truths), WILD ABANDON begins performances on September 19, 2018 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the W. Scott McLucas Studio Stage, with an opening night set for September 25, and will run through October 21, 2018.

A beloved entertainment icon borne from showbiz royalty, it was certainly no surprise that living legend Liza Minnelli-a past recipient of four Tony Awards, an Oscar, a special Grammy, two Golden Globe Awards, and an Emmy Award-was greeted with thunderous cheers and ovations during her recent return appearance on June 30, 2018 at Orange County's Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, accompanied by her friend and fellow music phenom Michael Feinstein. The one-night-only special event-billed as "Liza Minnelli and Michael Feinstein: In Conversation and Performance"-featured the award-winning singer, actress and stage superstar as, naturally, the night's main attraction, which had her singing (while seated) through a few classics while, in between, waxed nostalgic about her storied career and, of course, her famous parents, film icon Judy Garland and renowned director Vincente Minnelli.

This summer, Irish Rep is bringing the beauty and wonder of one of Broadway's most captivating musicals, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever back to New York City. With music by Burton Lane, theatergoers can soak up the magical score comprised of classics such as 'What Did I Have That I Don't Have?' as well as the title song 'On a Clear Day You Can See Forever' - among countless others. A Classic Broadway Mother's Day, special Mother's Day performance of the ongoing concert series An Evening of Classic Broadway, now in its 5th year, takes place on Sunday, May 13th at Rockwell Table and Stage in Los Angeles.
