Luna Gale plays September 8-27, 2015 and is directed by D. Lynn Meyers.

Artistic Director Blake Robison announced the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's 2015-16 season today with an engaging combination of world-premiere comedies, beloved dramas, inspirational and provocative new plays, a sultry musical revue and the return of one of the most popular shows in Playhouse history. The Playhouse's 56th season is Robison's fourth as artistic director.

In a long and diverse stage career, acclaimed Cincinnati actor Bruce Cromer has built a reputation as an amazingly compelling performer. Whether playing the curmudgeonly Ebenezer Scrooge in the annual Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park), theologian and celebrated fantasy writer C.S. Lewis (Freud's Last Session, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati), or a myriad of Shakespearean characters at theatres across the country, Bruce Cromer consistently delivers a precision and edge that makes each of his characters particularly memorable and authentic.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents Ben Jonson's The Alchemist, a rowdy tale of con artists and their gullible prey. This production marks the premiere of Artistic Director Bonnie J. Monte's new adaptation of the 17th century work. Performances begin August 6 at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue in Madison. Tickets start at $25 for all preview performances. All regular performances offer tickets starting at $32. Student rush tickets for all performances are $15, available a half-hour before curtain for with a valid student ID.
