Barrington Stage Company has announced casting for 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' and 'Private Lives' as well as and related information on its 2008 line-up of summer productions.

'Homecoming' is the theme of Barrington Stage Company's 14th Season. The theatre that developed and premiered William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on its Stage II in 2004 welcomes home the award-winning Broadway hit to its Mainstage from June 11 through July 12. Long-time BSC director Rob Ruggiero returns to direct Richard Greenberg's The Violet Hour, which will play July 17 through August 2. Julianne Boyd will direct Noel Coward's delicious battle-of-the-sexes comedy Private Lives starring Christopher Innvar from August 7 through 24. Private Lives marks the fifth stage collaboration between Boyd and Innvar.

The Zipper Factory proudly announces 'Words and Music By…', a celebration of the singer-songwriter, a new ongoing series that showcases new composer-performers, as well as musical artists on the verge of breaking out. The series commences in November, and in the coming weeks The Zipper

'Late Nite with Niko and Friends,' an evening of original songs by the ridiculously talented singer-songwriter Nikos Tsakalakos, will make its NYC debut at The Zipper Factory on Tuesday, November 13.

The World Goes 'Round runs for two more weeks from Wednesday, October 10 through Sunday, October 21 at Barrington Stage Company.
