According to Variety, the National Society of Film Critics has announced the winners of their 2019 awards.

Just in time for the holiday season, SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE – A VERY SPIDEY CHRISTMAS EP is available from Sony Music Masterworks. Voiced by cast members of the Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation critically-acclaimed hit feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the five-track EP reimagines classic holiday favorites with Spider-Man inspired lyrics.

Sony Music proudly announces the release of SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) featuring original music by multiple Golden Globe nominee Daniel Pemberton. The soundtrack will be released digitally and on CD on December 17, 2018. Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animations' Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will debut in U.S. theaters on December 14.

This morning, The Hollywood Reporter, along with presenting sponsor Lifetime, hosted their 27th annual Women in Entertainment breakfast at MILK Studios in Los Angeles. Speeches were given by Viola Davis, Kesha, Monica Lewinsky, Awkwafina, Lena Dunham, Lupita Nyong'o, Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira, Nina Jacobson and Hannah Gadsby at the event where college scholarships were awarded.

This morning, Film Independent announced that Aubrey Plaza (Ingrid Goes West, Legion, Parks & Recreation) will host the 2019 Film Independent Spirit Awards. The Spirit Awards are the primary fundraiser for Film Independent's year-round programs, which cultivate the careers of emerging filmmakers and promote diversity in the industry. Nominees were announced by Gemma Chan (Crazy Rich Asians, Captain Marvel, Mary Queen of Scots) and Molly Shannon (Divorce, Private Life, Other People) at a press conference on November 16. Best Feature nominees include Eighth Grade, First Reformed, If Beale Street Could Talk, Leave No Trace and You Were Never Really Here. The show will broadcast live exclusively on IFC at 2:00 pm PT/ 5:00 pm ET on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

'Game of Thrones' star Jessica Henwick will join the cast of “Godzilla vs. Kong,” according to Variety.

The Emmy-nominated actor discusses losing his mother suddenly and tragically in a car accident, what love means, and finding his footing in the industry and society.

Enter the corrupt world of 1980s Detroit at the height of the War on Drugs in the compelling father-son story, WHITE BOY RICK, debuting on Digital and available via the Movies Anywhere App. on December 11 and on Blu-ray and DVD December 25 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Based on true events, WHITE BOY RICK tells the moving story of a blue-collar father, played by Academy Award® winner Matthew McConaughey (2013, Best Actor, Dallas Buyers Club,) and his teenage son, played by newcomer Richie Merritt. Fifteen-year-old Rick Wershe Jr., dubbed “White Boy Rick”, becomes the youngest FBI informant in history, and later a drug dealer, manipulated by the very system meant to protect him, abandoned by his FBI handlers, and sentenced to life in prison.

The anthology series ROOM 104 will return for its 12-episode second season, debuting two episodes back-to-back, FRIDAY, NOV. 9 (11:30 pm ET), followed by two more new episodes subsequent Fridays at the same time.

Rebecca Hall has been cast opposite Millie Bobby Brown in 'Godzilla vs. Kong,' according to Variety.
