To ring in the new year, alt-pop trio PVRIS have announced that they will join Halsey and blackbear this summer on a North American amphitheater tour, making stops in Nashville, New York, and more. Judah & the Lion have premiered the video for 'Alright' - the latest single off of their stellar third LP Pep Talks, which was released earlier this year via Cletus the Van/Caroline. The band has been on the road all year on the Pep Talks Worldwide Tour, which wrapped up last week at NYC's Alt 92.3's Not So Silent Night at Barclay's Center. The video features footage from the high energy tour, which saw sold out shows around the globe including a massive hometown play at Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater.

Today, alt-pop phenoms PVRIS unveil their new track 'Death of Me.' The release gives a first look at a forthcoming full-length album, and marks the start of a new era for the band, who signed to Warner Records Reprise earlier this year. The track is released alongside the official video for the song, which was conceived by PVRIS frontwoman Lynn Gunn and directed by Katharine White. 'We wanted to match the seductive grittiness of the song with uncertain, tense and subliminal visual themes,' explains Gunn. 'We also hid, in plain view, references to the occult and divination, to be unpacked by the viewer... if they so choose.'

Judah & the Lion recently stopped by Sound Stage Studios in Nashville to record two tracks for a Spotify Singles Session: 'Why Did You Run? - Recorded at Sound Stage Studios Nashville' and 'I Won't Back Down - Recorded at Sound Stage Studios Nashville,' a cover of the Tom Petty classic. On July 22, 2018, I was privileged to attend the singular showing of A Man of Dance/Vincent Warren, at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center. This film is a celebration of the life of Vincent Warren (1938 - 2017) written and directed by Marie Brodeur.

Florida native VINCENT WARREN was a celebrated figure in the dance world of Canada.  After a distinguished career as a principal dancer with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Warren became widely known and respected as a teacher, historian and archivist.   His many awards include a Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Medal in 1977, a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012, and being named a member of the order of Canada in 2004.

His is a tale worth telling, the story of a man and the road he travelled, recounted in a documentary that by extension celebrates important and compelling moments of our recent history.
