Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood of "Whose Line is it Anyway" return to the McAninch Arts Center, located at 425 Fawell Blvd., to open the MAC's 2018-2019 Season with "Scared Scriptless," Friday, Sept. 14, 8 p.m. Armed with nothing but their sharp wit, Mochrie and Sherwood take to the stage in their uproarious live improv show for a night of non-stop laughter for all ages. The Dallas Morning Star calls the show "Consistently funny and occasionally breathtaking," and The Springfield Sun News calls it "A two hour laugh riot."

McAninch Arts Center (MAC), located at 425 Fawell Blvd., hosts a festive Tickets On-Sale Party, Saturday, Aug. 4, in the MAC lobby, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The event will feature tours of the theaters, gifts for the first 100 buyers, drawings for prizes every half hour, live piano music by COD faculty member Steven Havens and free food and drink. Patrons will also enjoy the opportunity to chat with representatives of Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, New Philharmonic and the MAC; enjoy personal attention from box office staff; and receive savings on handling fees and access to prime theater seating.

Today, the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) announced its 2018-2019 season, its fifth season since the venue's grand reopening in 2014 at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of the College of DuPage. In recent years, the MAC has been attracting more than 100,000 patrons annually to more than 200 performances, solidifying its position as an essential source of arts and entertainment for DuPage and surrounding communities. The MAC 2018-2019 season programming reflects this broad appeal with an eclectic mix of music, dance, theater, comedy, film and family entertainment from September 2018 through June 2019. Given its commitment to fostering the sense of community, the MAC is introducing a new series of post-show "Common Ground Conversations" and continues its popular MAC Chats and VIP receptions.
