Lin-Manuel Miranda, Anne Hathaway Among Special Guests on SESAME STREET: ELMO'S PLAYDATE Special

WarnerMedia announced it will air the half-hour special, SESAME STREET: ELMO'S PLAYDATE, simultaneously across HBO, HBO Latino, TBS, TNT, truTV, Cartoon Network and Boomerang on TUESDAY, APRIL 14 (7:00-7:30 p.m. ET/PT). The special will also air on PBS KIDS at the same time, and will later air internationally in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

NATPE Reveals 2020 Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award Recipients

The National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) announced today that the recipients of NATPE's 17th Annual Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award are award-winning actress Christine Baranski, ABC Entertainment President Karey Burke, prolific television creator, producer and writer Courtney A. Kemp, President of NBCUniversal's Telemundo Global Studios, Marcos Santana, and Chairman, WarnerMedia News and Sports & President, CNN Worldwide Jeff Zucker. They will receive the prestigious award during the NATPE Miami 2020 convention during a dinner gala on January 22, 2020, at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. The dinner, with its A-list attendees, benefits the NATPE Educational Foundation, with a portion going to the Broadcasters Federation of America (BFOA). Bob Holmes is returning as Executive Producer of the show.

WarnerMedia Entertainment Chairman, Robert Greenblatt today announced he has extended top executive Kevin Reilly's contract with a new multi-year deal through 2022. Reilly's role will expand to include all WarnerMedia Entertainment basic cable networks as President of TBS, TNT and truTV, in addition to Chief Content Officer, WarnerMedia Direct-to-Consumer. As part of this company reorganization, truTV's President Chris Linn has decided to depart the company.

Bob Greenblatt, who will soon bring a live staging of the musical Hair to NBC in May, will accept the Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award at the 16th annual NATPE (National Association of Television Program Executives) Conference in Miami, where other honorees include Byron Allen, Mara Brock Akil, Rita Moreno, Betty White and Henry Winkler. Greenblatt recently signed off as the entertainment chairman of NBC, and seems to be focusing on producing for now.

The life of late legendary producer Craig Zadan will be celebrated by the Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) - the organization dedicated to supporting theatre arts in schools and nurturing students all over the country - at the organization's annual West Coast gala Thespians Go Hollywood - Honoring the Life and Work of Craig Zadan. The celebration will take place on November 11, 2018 at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' headquarters in North Hollywood.  The announcement was made by Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment, and Julie Cohen Theobald, President of the Educational Theatre Foundation.
