Lynn University was host to the 2012 final presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney and tickets were of course very difficult to obtain for the 'entertaining' evening and the wait list was long. For last night's performance by songstress Deborah Silver tickets were also difficult to obtain with a long wait list, however there was no debate about the display of talents by the Florida based entertainer.

Netflix and Spike Lee's 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks, Inc to release the time travel drama See You Yesterday. Based on the award-winning short film, the feature centers on two Brooklyn teenage science prodigies, Claudette “C.J.” Walker and Sebastian J. Thomas, who build make-shift time machines to save C.J.'s brother, Calvin, from being wrongfully killed by a police officer. The film is produced by Spike Lee and stars Eden-Duncan Smith (Roxanne Roxanne) and newcomer Danté Crichlow.

Ben Platt originated the title role in 'Dear Evan Hansen' to critical acclaim (Obie Award, Outer Critics Circle and Drama League nominations) and won the 2017 Tony Award for his Broadway performance. Deadline has reported that actress Lola Kirke has signed on to join Tony Award-winning Dear Evan Hansen star Ben Platt in an upcoming feature film titled LOVE & OATMEAL produced by Black Label Media.

Following a theatrical release in March, 1950's inspired noir thriller Dead on Arrival is now available on DVD, Blu-ray & VOD courtesy of Vision Films.

Lin-Manuel Miranda has teamed up with Ben Platt for the newest song in his #Hamildrop series, Found/Tonight. The song, which features vocals by both men, features bits of 'The Story of Tonight' from Hamilton and 'You Will Be Found' from Dear Evan Hansen. Listen below!

As previously announced, Lin-Manuel Miranda is teaming up with Ben Platt for the next #Hamildrop track. It was recently revealed that the track is called 'Found Tonight' and will be released tonight at midnight. A portion of the proceeds from the track will go to the March For Our Lives Initiative.

Ben Platt took to Twitter today to share an audition tape of himself singing 'Maria' from West Side Story. A film remake by Steven Spielberg is currently in the works but no word on if that's the project Platt was auditioning for or his involvement, if any.
