Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, will present A Charlie Brown Christmas as part of our 2018 Holiday Series! Created by Charles M. Schulz, based on the television special by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson, this stage adaptation by Eric Schaeffer is presented by special arrangement with Arthur Whitelaw and Ruby Persson, and will be directed by Resident Artist James McHale. A Charlie Brown Christmas will preview from December 7th through 9th; regular performances will begin December 13th and continue through December 23rd on the Fyda-Mar Stage at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

Schulz, based on the television special by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson, this stage adaptation by Eric Schaeffer is presented by special arrangement with Arthur Whitelaw and Ruby Persson, and will be directed by Resident Artist James McHale.

The Christmas season continues on Midlands stages!

A Charlie Brown Christmas, based upon the Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, is back by popular demand and will be presented on the Wilton Playshop stage from December 7-9, 2018. Based on the television special by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson, this holiday favorite was adapted for the stage by Eric Schaeffer. Jeffrey Spector will direct and Christine Titus will choreograph this stage adaptation of the classic animated television special in which Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the other Peanuts grapple with the real meaning of Christmas.

The Young Players of Benton proudly present A Charlie Brown Christmas Dec. 14-16 at the historic Royal Theatre, 111 South Main Street, in downtown Benton, AR.  Show times are 7 p.m. on Dec. 14 and 15, with 2 p.m. matinees on Dec. 15 and 16.  This show is made up of the Young Players Early Stages group which includes students in grades Kindergarten through 6th.  The production is directed by Izzy Hammonds and Matthew Burns.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas on Midlands stages!

Schulz, which runs from December 6th - 16th at its theater complex at City Center. This Emmy and Peabody award-winning story by Charles M. Schulz has been a longstanding tradition, warming the hearts of millions of fans since it first aired on television over 50 years ago. This stage adaptation of the classic animated television special by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson, brings all your favorite characters to life - all set to the unforgettable sounds of the Vince Guaraldi musical score.

'Tis the season to celebrate as A Charlie Brown Christmas Live on Stage brings holiday cheer to Springfield at the Sangamon Auditorium on Wednesday, December 12th at 7:30 pm.

The ABC Television Network will air the beloved Emmy Award-winning PEANUTS special “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in 1965, on THURSDAY, DEC. 6 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST). The hour will also include a series of Christmas-themed animated stories entitled “Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales,” based on Schulz's work, in which each of the beloved PEANUTS characters – Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy and Sally – star in his or her own charming animated vignette. ABC celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with special '25 Days of Christmas' programming starting Dec. 1. The network joins Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior in this fan-favorite TV event. The 'Kickoff to Christmas' begins in late November with perennial holiday treat 'Santa Claus is Comin' to Town.' The month of December is filled with special Christmas-themed episodes, the return of 'The Great Christmas Light Fight' and 'The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition,' and timeless animated classics and holiday films. The celebration continues after Christmas with New Year's-themed programming ringing in 2019.

The ABC Television Network will kick off the holiday season with the classic half-hour animated PEANUTS special, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” Wednesday, NOV. 21 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. In the 1973 special, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, Charlie Brown wants to do something special for the gang. However, the dinner he arranges is a disaster when the caterers, Snoopy and Woodstock, prepare toast and popcorn as the main dish. Humiliated, it will take all of Marcie's persuasive powers to salvage the holiday for Charlie Brown. (Rebroadcast. ABC OAD: 11/16/01)

This full-length version of the classic animated PEANUTS special “It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” includes the bonus cartoon, “You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown,” featuring the Great Pumpkin, airing FRIDAY, OCT. 26 (8:00–9:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.
