a?oeMais ouia?? meets Midway in ATP's new presentation of OperaLesque, a tantalizing mix of opera, classical burlesque, and aerial circus acts, running August 23-25 at the ATP Garage, 6464 Hwy 93 in Whitefish. OperaLesque will feature some of the greatest opera singers in the nation from the Metropolitan Opera and New York City Opera companies mixed with tantalizing burlesque. Patrons will step into the world reminiscent of the Moulin Rouge and the big-top circuses of old, enjoying cocktails at the ATP Garage while being treated to vocal and physical virtuosity around them and above them. The late-night performances are all at 9pm and are for adults only. Only 60 seats are available per performance.

One of the most popular movie comedies of all time comes to life on stage with music & lyrics by musical icon, Dolly Parton in 9 to 5 the Musical, coming to the Whitefish Performing Arts Center April 26-28. The hit musical is based on the iconic 1980 movie listed by the American Film Institute as one of the "Top 100 Funniest Films." Set to music written by Country Music Hall of Famer, Dolly Parton, it will be performed by 30 students ages 13-18 from 6 different schools across the Flathead Valley. It is part of Alpine Theatre Project's ATP Kids theatre education program for local students.

For one weekend only in March, an all-star ensemble of singers and rock musicians are joining forces to present Andrew Lloyd Webber's 70's rock-infused retelling of Jesus Christ's final week. Every year, Alpine Theatre Project inspires thousands of community members and students by bringing professional singers, actors, and dancers to the Flathead Valley to perform and teach. Over 350 local students find their inner confidence and creativity each year through ATP's after-school and summer theatre education programs. ATP is continuing this work for its 15th season with a full year of professional and educational programs for the community, starting with a free reading of the Olivier-Award winning drama, Death and the Maiden, on January 29 at 7pm and an exclusive mix of opera and tantalizing burlesque on Valentine's Day weekend.

Ten year old Dylynne Cosand from Bigfork has been chosen to portray the title character in Alpine Theatre Project's upcoming production of Matilda the Musical, based on the beloved book by Roald Dahl. The musical, part of ATP's 2018 Broadway Summer Season, will open July 7 and run in rotating repertory until July 20 at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center. Cosand was chosen after a statewide search to find a young actress to play the young Matilda, a a precocious and confident girl gifted with an extraordinary intellect.

New faces, including Broadway veterans and even an American Idol contestant, join returning favorites to perform in Alpine Theatre Project's 2018 Broadway Summer Season. These professional actors will perform in ATP's rotating productions of the 50's-era musical revue, Smokey Joe's Cafe, the one-man comedy, Fully Committed, the regional premiere of Matilda the Musical, ATP's new musical cabaret series, Shifting Gears: ATP Distilled, and ATP's free pop-up play reading series, Outside the Box.

America's kookiest family comes to musical life in The Addams Family, coming to the Whitefish Performing Arts Center April 27-29. The Tony Award-nominated musical is based on the iconic illustrations by Charles Addams and the hit TV show they spawned, and will be performed by 31 students ages 13-18 from 9 different schools across the Flathead Valley. It is part of the ATP Kids theatre education program and is presented by Kalispell KiDDS.

This summer season, Alpine Theater Project (ATP) brings Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness to the Whitefish Performing Arts Center July 13th, 14th, 15th/ 20th, 21st, 22nd/ and 27th, 28th, 29th.

With much excitement and clamor, Broadway's N'Kenge returns to Alphine Theatre Project in Montana to star in 'Chicago' as Matron 'Mama' Morton, the Witch in 'Big Fish,' and various roles in 'Ring of Fire.' All three productions will be running in rotating repertory from July 9 - August 1.

Tony Award nominee and Broadway veteran, Barbara Walsh, brings Terrence McNally's Master Class back to its birthplace when she portrays legendary opera diva, Maria Callas, in a production of the play at Alpine Theatre Project (ATP) in Whitefish, Montana tonight, June 15 through June 24. The Tony Award winning play was originally developed at "The Gathering" playwriting conference in nearby Bigfork, MT in the early 1990's. ATP's production is the first professional production of the play in the area. It is directed by David Ackroyd.
