Halley Feiffer's no stranger to the stage with her latest A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY UNIT AT SLOAN-KETTERING MEMORIAL CANCER CENTER OF NEW YORK CITY already in previews this first week of September at The Geffen Playhouse. A FUNNY THING..., however, will mark Halley's first time performing in her own work, after her self-described, humbling acting role in the theatre legends-studded THE FRONT PAGE earlier this year on Broadway.

Geeslin and Honorary Chairs Beth Behrs, Colman Domingo, Douglas Sills, and Denzel Washington have announced A.C.T.'s 50th Anniversary Gala, taking place on Thursday, April 27 at A.C.T.'s Strand Theater (1127 Market St.), The Costume Shop (1119 Market St.), as well as in a specially built supper club-style tented dining room between the two venues.

MCC Theater has announced that its previously announced benefit reading of a new Neil LaBute play, Reasons to be Pretty Happy, will be led by star of stage and screen-and frequent LaBute collaborator-Paul Rudd, who previously worked with LaBute on the critically acclaimed play, The Shape of Things in both New York and London as well as the film adaptation. He also starred on stage in LaBute's bash - in New York and Los Angeles.

THE 70TH ANNUAL TONY AWARDS, aired live from the Beacon Theatre, last night Sunday, June 12 on the CBS Television Network. After the ceremony is when the real fun started though, as most of the evening's celebrity guests headed to the annual Tonys Gala at the Plaza Hotel.
