BWW Reviews: Brilliant IN A WORD at Cleveland Public Theatre
by Roy Berko - Apr 26, 2015

What are the feelings of a husband and wife when they want to conceive a child, but can't? What are the ramifications for that childless family when they are given the opportunity to adopt the 'perfect' child? What is it like when that family becomes aware that their child is autistic? How do parents cope with a child who screams when he becomes frustrated and doesn't have the words to express his needs or habitually follows a pattern over and over, such as reading the same book again and again, or can't socialize with others? What emotionally happens to that family when that child disappears?

Nick Blaemire, Michael Berry, Jodie Langel and Adrienne Warren Set for THE WHO'S TOMMY BC/EFA Concert Tonight
by BWW News Desk - Jul 29, 2013

When 18-year old Orange High School senior Miles Sternfeld began preparing for his senior project, he knew exactly what he wanted to do: bring Broadway to Cleveland. And that's exactly what he's done. With the help of mentor, Sean Szaller (who also serves as the production's musical director), Sternfeld set out to produce a one-night only benefit performance of 'The Who's Tommy' which, coincidentally, was the first full blown musical he was in as a child. Miles was also very clear that he wanted all proceeds from this production to benefit Broadway Cares - and Joe Norton at BC/EFA was happy to jump on board to offer his support.
