Obie winner and Tony Award nominee Reg Rogers will star in The Injured Party, a new comedy by Tony Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg. Commissioned by SCR and directed by Trip Cullman, The Injured Party will receive its World Premiere at South Coast Repertory during the 11th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival. The show will run from April 20 through May 11, 2008 on the Julianne Argyros Stage. Low-priced previews are available from April 20 through April 24. Opening night is April 25. Emmy Award winner Timothy Busfield takes the stage in a tour de force performance as a comically deranged nephew anxiously awaiting his aunt's death in the Westport Country Playhouse production of 'Vigil' by Morris Panych.

Westport Country Playhouse has announced that Emmy Award winner Timothy Busfield and Drama Desk Lifetime Achievement Award and Obie Award winner Helen Stenborg will open the Playhouse's 78th season in the dark comedy Vigil by Morris Panych. The play will run from February 26 through March 15. Director is Stephen DiMenna.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Mara Manus) announced casting today for The Poor Itch, the second play of the inaugural PUBLIC LAB initiative. Directed by Lisa Peterson, The Poor Itch is a new play by the late John Belluso that will run March 7-23. Tickets are $10 for all PUBLIC LAB performances.

Due to a scheduling conflict, Logan Marshall-Green has dropped out of the upcoming production of Rag and Bone at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater. Replacing him is Matthew Stadelmann. Performances will now begin Tuesday, November 13, 2007. Opening night is Tuesday, November 20 at 7PM. The show will run through Sunday, December 16, 2007.

Producer Adam Epstein (Cry-Baby, Hairspray) announced today that the landmark rock musical Godspell is scheduled to begin performances on Broadway in the summer of 2008 at a Shubert Theatre to be announced.
