The presentation features excerpts from work by the 2014-2015 class including Naveen Bahar Choudhury, Camille Darby, Sophie Jaff, Dana Levinson, Kristine M. Reyes, Tim Rosser, Charlie Sohne, Mark Sonnenblick, Aurin Squire, Kathleen Tagg, James A. Tyler, Stacey Weingarten and Ben Wexler.

Chance Theater announced that its popular un-holiday comedy, The Eight: Reindeer Monologues will be extending its run through December 28, 2013, adding performances on Monday, December 23 at 7:45pm and Saturday, December 28 at 11pm.

It may not be like getting a gift on every one of the 12 Days of Christmas, but for cabaret and musical theater lovers, the 5th Annual Urban Stages Winter Rhythms series--presented over a dozen nights at the not-for-profit Off-Broadway theatre on 259 West 30th Street--could be the closest thing to opening a daily present by the tree. From December 3-15, dozens of singers and musicians will perform in an eclectic mix of a dozen shows plus late night and matinee 'extras,' with all the proceeds from ticket sales dedicated to the Urban Stages 'On Tour Outreach Program that brings more than 200 free multicultural theater and music programs to elementary and middle school age children and their families in libraries and schools throughout NYC five boroughs. An industry reading of Neurosis: A New Musical will be presented October 24-25 at Ripley-Grier Studios. Neurosis features a book by Allan Rice, music by Ben Green, and lyrics by Greg Edwards. Rice has written for television shows including "The New Adventures of Old Christine" on CBS and the upcoming Kelsey Grammer-Martin Lawrence Project on FX. Green is a veteran of Hasty Pudding Theatricals and a frequent orchestrator for Laurence O'Keefe (Heathers, Sarah Plain and Tall). Edwards, a two-time finalist for the Fred Ebb Award, has collaborated with Marvin Hamlisch and Arthur Laurents.
