In lieu of live performances which have been postponed due to COVID-19, The Joyce is offering on-demand streaming of Ayodele Casel: Chasing Magic from Friday, January 7 at 6pm ET through Sunday, January 23 at 11:59pm ET.

Miami New Drama announced the return of the world premiere production  A Wonderful World, a new musical based on the life and songs of jazz legend and American icon Louis Armstrong. Originally scheduled for the spring of 2020, the production will now play at the Colony Theatre from December 4 - January 16, with opening night set for December 11.

After 18 years, Caroline Thibodeaux is back on Broadway. Caroline, or Change, the beloved musical by Tony Kushner and Jeanine Tesori, returned to Broadway last night at Studio 54 in a stunning new revival from Roundabout Theatre Company. GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS and TWO RIVER THEATER have announced that the label will record the new Joe Iconis musical Love in Hate Nation for an original cast album. The recording is based on the show’s world premiere production at the Two River Theater in 2019.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts announced today that Jason Robert Brown, Savion Glover, Priscilla López, Susan Stroman, Marisha Wallace, and Christopher Wheeldon have joined the growing list of Broadway stars participating in I'm Still Here: A Virtual Benefit for the Billy Rose Theatre Division, airing June 23, 2021 on Broadway On Demand at 8pm EST and 8pm PST. The fundraiser will help raise critical funds for the Library for the Performing Arts' beloved Theatre Division as it celebrates its 90th anniversary this year.

I'm Still Here, a new virtual benefit for The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Billy Rose Theatre Division, will stream on Broadway On Demand on June 23. The evening is a celebration of the division's 90th Anniversary, and the 50th  Anniversary of its beloved Theatre on Film and Tape Archive and will honor Harold Prince and George C. Wolfe.

Shoshana Bean has joined the star-studded line up for Maestra Music’s inaugural concert event, Amplify 2021 on Monday, March 29, 2021. Accompanied virtually by Maestras from around the world, Bean will sing an original song with music, lyrics and orchestrations by Maestra member Lynne Shankel (Allegiance) for the finale of the event.

Maestra Music, the not-for-profit organization supporting the women who make the music in the musical theater industry, hosts their inaugural Spring concert event, Amplify.

Maestra Music will hold its first annual concert event on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 8 pm, with an interactive pre-show beginning at 7 pm, its founder Georgia Stitt announced today.
