The 2nd Annual Chita Rivera Awards Will Be Held Sunday May 20

The 2nd annual Chita Rivera Awards (www.ChitaRiveraAwards.com) will take place on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place off of Washington Square Park), it was announced today by Nikki Feirt Atkins, Founder and Producing Artistic Director of American Dance Machine for the 21st Century (www.ADM21.org) and Joe Lanteri, Founder and Executive Director of the New York City Dance Alliance Foundation (www.NYCDAFoundation.net). ADM21 has joined forces with the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation to present this year's Awards. Atkins, Lanteri along with Patricia Watt are the Executive Producers of the Chita Rivera Awards.
Rioult Dance NY Announces 2018 Winter Gala 'Centered On The Future'

Pascal Rioult's RIOULT Dance NY announces its Centered On The Future 2018 Winter Gala to be held on Wednesday February 28, 2018 at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers – Pier 61 a 6:30pm. This year's Gala will honor Joseph W. Armbrust, Kaufman Astoria Studios, and Steinway & Sons. The Gala Co-Chairs are John A. MacKinnon and Harsha Murthy. Long-time friends of the company, actress Kathleen Turner, will speak and offer a special rendition of It's Only A Paper Moon, and Tony nominated Christine Andreas will sing Hymne a L'Amour reprising her 2015 collaboration with RIOULT. The Gala will feature dance performances, an auction, a gourmet dinner, followed by a DJ and dancing.

Pascal Rioult's RIOULT Dance NY, the American modern dance company with a European sensibility, announces its 2018 performance schedule. RIOULT kicks off the New Year with a season teaser performance at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center on January 19 at 7:30. The one and only Moscow Ballet Great Russian Nutcracker and classic Swan Lake celebrate 25 years of touring North America bringing world renowned Russian ballets and artists to audiences in cities and towns, large and small. The “2017 Peace and Puppets Tour” features Moscow Ballet's singular “Dove of Peace” character, created by 2 dancers moving as one bird, which opens Act II's “Land of Peace and Harmony.” (not the traditional “Land of Sweets”) This production also includes the use of small puppets in Act I's Party Scene and whimsical 10 foot tall puppets in Act II's Variations. The Moscow Ballet version of the 5 Variations represent the major heritages of the world: Hispanic, African, European, Asian and Slavic/Russian living in peace and harmony.
