Currently celebrating its 15th anniversary season, the internationally acclaimed Aspen Santa Fe Ballet (ASFB) returns to the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. Randolph Dr., to present three Chicago premieres, Tuesday, May 24 at 7:30 p.m.

The 29th Annual Fred & Adele Astaire Awards nominees were announced by choreographer & director Lee Roy Reams at a special reception hosted by Carolyn Kendall Buchter, Ronald Buchter and Patricia Watt, Producer of the Astaire Awards at Theater Row's Firebird Russian Restaurant,. The 29th Annual Fred & Adele Astaire Award Nominees will be announced at a special reception hosted by Carolyn Kendall Buchter, Ronald Buchter, Cassandra Seidenfeld Lyster and Patricia Watt, Producer of the Astaire Awards at Theater Row's Firebird Russian Restaurant, 365 West 46th Street, New York 10036 on Tuesday April 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The 'Astaires' are the only awards to honor excellence in dance and choreography on Broadway and in film. Actor, Choreographer , director and dancer Lee Roy Reams will announce the nominees.

Oregon Ballet Theatre unravels the mysteries of the human heart this season with the help of toreadors and tortured artists, country girls and conjurers in the just announced 2011/2012 season. Our Fall Program will feature World Premiere Petrouchka from Nicolo Fonte coupled with the World Premiere of Carmen from Christopher Stowell. The holiday season features the return of Christopher Stowell's popular A Holiday Revue and George Balanchine's The Nutcracker. The heart of our Winter program is the World Premiere of Lola de Avila's Giselle. In the spring we bring a mixed repertory program, Chromatic Quartet, which features Company Premiere George Balanchine's Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Company Premiere Christopher Wheeldon's Liturgy, Val Caniparoli's Lambarena and a World Premiere new work.

On the Modern Greats program with three performances, December 3-4, 2010 at the Sarasota Opera House, the Sarasota Ballet will perform three Sarasota premieres - Christopher Wheeldon's The American, Will Tuckett's Spielende Kinder and Twyla Tharp's In the Upper Room.
