Primary Stages Presents World Premiere Of Clarence Coo's ON THAT DAY IN AMSTERDAM

PRIMARY STAGES is proud to announce that tickets are now on sale for the first two productions of its 35th Anniversary season. The season will kick off in the fall with the world premiere of On That Day in Amsterdam, written by Clarence Coo (Beautiful Province (Belle Province)-a?'Yale Drama Prize) and directed by Kareem Fahmy (3/Fifths). Performances begin at the Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) on October 29, 2019, with opening night set for November 19, for a run through December 18, 2019.

Amazon Studios started principal photography on visionary director Mike Cahill's (I Origins, Another Earth) Bliss this week in Los Angeles and Croatia. Academy Award nominees Salma Hayek and Owen Wilson are set to star in this sci-fi drama also written by Cahill. Endgame Entertainment's James D. Stern is producing, with the company's Lucas Smith serving as executive producer. Marsha Swinton (Hala) will also executive produce.

Production has officially wrapped in Alabama on the coming-of-age teen comedy “This is the Year” starring breakout actor Lorenzo Henrie (“Fear the Walking Dead”) and Gregg Sulkin (Marvel's “Runaways,” “Faking It”). On Sunday, December 2, the One Love Malibu festival will help raise funds to rebuild Malibu and its community after the devastating Woolsey Fire. Announced by KCRW today, One Gun Ranch will be renamed One Love Ranch, where there will be a live auction and performances by Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Macy Gray, Chris Martin (Coldplay), Robin Thicke, Natasha Bedingfield, Brandi Carlile, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), Angel Haze, Dorothy, Rita Wilson and more to be announced. Demi Moore, Pierce & Keely Brosnan, Johnny Galecki, Anjelica Huston, Cara Delevingne, Orlando Bloom, Chris Douridas, Laird Hamilton, Gabby Reece and Liberty Ross will also be involved in the festival.
