The New York Music Theater Festival can easily be considered a harbor for the freshest talents in musical theater. Over a period of several weeks, an astonishing number of musical productions are presented on vest pocket stages throughout New York City. As is often the case with harbors, there is a confluence of talent feeding into it. Not only is this talent from all over the nation, but it ranges from the youngest to the most experienced and they all converge on the city for this event.

ReVision Theatre Celebrates their 5th Anniversary with a one-night only Concert/Fundraiser taking audience members on a trip down Memory Lane of the past four years in Asbury Park. The event takes place tonight, July 6th at 8:00 PM at the Paramount Theatre on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. This annual fundraising event gives a jump start to every ReVision Season.

Danny Bolero (Broadway's In The Heights), Mel Johnson Jr. (Broadway's The Lion King, Hot Feet, The Rink), Beth McVey (Broadway's Beauty and the Beast, 42nd Street, Nine), ANITA WELCH (Avenue Q National Tour), Tim Young (Broadway's Next To Normal) and EJ ZIMMERMAN (Avenue Q National Tour) will star in Riley Thomas' subway tuner STUCK in the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival. ReVision Theatre has announced the lineup for their 2012 Fifth Anniversary Summer Season, including two main-stage productions at ReVision's new venue, The Theatre at St. George. Their three-production season kicks off on Friday, July 6th at the Paramount Theatre at 8 p.m. with their Fifth Anniversary Retrospective Concert/Fundraiser, followed by Pippin, and for the first time in ReVision's Asbury Park history, a drama, Red, both at The Theatre at St. George.

The Tony Winning Broadway Sensation Passing Strange begins previews Thursday, February 23 with an official press opening set for Friday, February 24.

Avenue Q is headed to Omaha for a One Night Only engagement on March 16. BroadwayWorld columnist Analisa Swerczek had the opportunity to sit and chat with the very talented Anita Welch, the touring production's Gary Coleman.
