Previews begin for David Caudle's The Common Swallow starring Annie Golden. Annie Golden was discovered on the Bowery fronting a rock band and cast by Milos Forman as Jeannie in Hair, the 1978 film.

FST's hit country musical Cowgirls has been extended through July 17, due to popular demand. The 'energetic' musical is under the direction of Mary Murfitt (concept of COWGIRLS/composer/lyricist) and music direction by Mary Ehlinger (musical arrangments for COWGIRLS), and brings together six talented actresses-singers-musicians 'for a thoroughly enjoyable evening of musical theatre.' (SCENE Magazine)

Grab your boots and hold onto your cowboy hats, the off-Broadway country musical Cowgirls kicks off the Florida Studio Theatre 2011 Summer Season this June. The musical comedy with a big heart is the brainchild of playwright Mary Murfitt, with music and lyrics by Ms. Murfitt, a book by Betsy Howie, and musical arrangements by Mary Ehlinger. COWGIRLS plays preview performances
June 8 and 9, with a press opening June 10 in the Keating Theatre. Single tickets are priced $32 - $34 and can be purchased online at floridastudiotheatre.org or by calling the box office at (941) 366-9000.

tick, tick...BOOM! by Pulitzer Prize Winner Jonathan Larson returns to the Provincetown Theatre on December 26th for 8 performances only until January 3rd. Perormances run every night at 7pm, except for Thursday, January 1st. Counter Productions is proud to present a reprisal of their critically acclaimed, smash hit production of tick, tick...BOOM! which played the Provincetown Theatre June 23-July 3rd, 2008.
